***Fall Hutch 2013***

Hey guys! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Today, I want to share my hutch with you all. I just love this time of year, my house feels so cozy. It is finally starting to cool down some here, I am so ready for cooler weather!

Here's a look at the hutch, I love how the oranges and reds pop off my black hutch.

I added a metal piece and placed an arrangement I put together in front of it along with two roosters, a finial and a candlestick with a pumpkin. I draped the same leaf garland and twig garland to the top as I did on my mantle.

I made this tassel a few years ago, I love adding them to my hutch, doors, lamps etc I just love them! I will be making some this week, so stay tuned.

To the inside I kept my Chris Madden dishes from JcPenny's and added plates and mugs from Dollar General, glittery pumpkins and wine glasses.

For the bottom I added leaves to the greenery in the wine crate, my favorite fleur de lis plate, a small lamp and a rooster pot with a deco ball.

I hope you all enjoyed my hutch. I will be sharing my Kitchen next.

Have a great week!

***Fall Mantle 2013***

Hey guys! I'm back hope you didn't forget about me! So sorry I have been gone so long! I cannot believe I haven't done a blog post since June, yikes! We have had a pretty busy summer, so now that all of our vacations are over I am ready to get back into decorating. I pulled out all of my Fall decor yesterday and have been busy creating looks. I have finished my mantle after changing it around about 5 times!

I wanted to create a different look than what I did last year. I don't have much room to work with, so I have to work with whatever can fit up there. I think this turned out nice. I put a leaf garland around the clock to make it look like a wreath. I added velvet and metal pumpkins to the center. I needed height on the sides, so I left the two topiaries there and my two finials that are always on the mantle. I placed twig garland and strung a leaf garland over the top, I like the texture the twig garland adds. To the bottom I added two candlesticks to either side, a pumpkin and a lantern.

Here are some closer pics.

I just tucked the leaf garland in around my clock.

I made this topper for my lantern out of ribbon, leaves and a big flower pic from Hobby Lobby.

I always start with the mantle and move on from there. Everything you see here cost me absolutely nothing! I had everything in my stash from previous years.

I hope you all enjoyed my mantle, I have a lot more to share. I will be sharing as I get things finished, so stay tuned! I will also be making several fall tassels if anyone is interested let me know! If you have any requests contact me via email and I will be happy to create something for you.

Enjoy the rest of your week!
