A sneak peek into the Kitchen!!

Hey guys!! I am busy unpacking and decorating, but I wanted to share with you a few pictures of a wall I have finished in the Kitchen. I am happy with it as of now, but we all know that can change! Let me know what you think, I cannot decide if it's too busy or not. I chose to keep the decor underneath the shelf pretty simple. I will share the rest of the kitchen soon!

Here's a close up of the upper portion, at our old house I had a knife that I put above the picture, but as I was hanging it up it broke. So instead of going and buying another knife I used the plates and plate rack I already had. 

There is an outlet and a phone jack here that I wanted to mask so I added this greenery box and it did the trick.

Bursting at the seams!

Hey guys! Well, we are all moved in and are bursting at the seams to say the least! We moved in this past weekend and my in laws' stuff will be moved out of the house this weekend. I haven't unpacked much since its all buried in the garage, so I will be unpacking like crazy once I can start moving a lot of the stuff inside. Just wanted to share with you all some pictures of what life is like over here. 

I painted the kitchen the same tan color I used in the bedroom I showed you a few weeks ago, it used to be red. I will share pictures this week with you guys of what I have finished. Stay tuned!

 This is the front living room, all of our in laws furniture is in there until this weekend whenever they get their pods.

Here is all of our stuff in the garage, luckily it's pretty large.

UGH yesterday we went out the garage and got into the car and shut it and all of a sudden this mirror fell and yep CRACKED. I am gonna look into finding just a replacement mirror I really like the frame and that's usually the most expensive part. If any of you have any ideas please share them with me!

Checking in, winner and the BEST weed killer!

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't been around much or visiting any of you! We have been moving and this weekend all of our stuff will be out of the house. New tenants will be moving in on the 26th, so I will have to come back next week and get everything cleaned and ready for them. I just wanted to check in with you all! I was so surprised the other day, I won Debbie's chalk paint giveaway!! I am so excited! :) Cannot wait to use it. Also, this is sort of random but this is a really good recipe for killing weeds. We seem to have a lot them lately and they drive me nuts! My Grandpa actually told me about this. 

Here it is:

1 gallon of vinegar

1 cup of salt

2 tablespoons of dish soap

You poor out a cup of the vinegar and pour in the cup of salt and dish soap. Then you put the cup of vinegar back in and shake it up really good. I put mine into a spray bottle and just went around and sprayed all of them and I tell ya this stuff is MAGIC! The weeds were gone the next day. I was so shocked!! Love it and you cannot beat the price, I usually use pretty expensive weed killer and it doesn't work.

Greenery & Moving

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around much, all of this moving is kicking my butt! I need to get the rest of my stuff packed. It is on my list for today. Anyhow here are some pictures of our front living room filled with stuff, this isn't even half of the stuff we have! AHH LOL we just moved over the two couches that were in there and about 10 boxes on Monday. Just wanted to give you guys a glimpse of the moving process. We are planning to have everything out of the house by the 22nd, so we have a lot of work ahead of us!

 A few weeks ago, I hit Ross and found this topiary it was 14.99.

In a previous post I showed you this container, I was going to make a 3 ball topiary like this, but I found this one at Michael's and after coupons and discounts it was 24.99! I couldn't make it for that price and it fits in the container perfectly!! I was so excited!

New Colors and Goodies!

Hey guys! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!! We have been busy getting stuff done at the new house, we installed a spring for the gate on the fence to the pool, put on locks for the cabinets and I painted a bedroom. 

Below is a picture of what the bedroom color used to look like. It was blue all over. I painted it Valspar- Cinncinatian Hotel Carl Tan. I am loving this color! It is a really nice neutral, I will be painting most of the downstairs with this color.

I did also do some shopping a few weeks ago, I brought these over here so we don't have to move them twice. I have some other things at my house that I bought that I will show you soon. I found these candle sconces for 17.99 I love the detail on them! I also found this cage for 4.99. I got both of them at Ross of course! LOL
