Hey! I finished decorating my mantle last night, I'm happy with it as of now but you all know how that can change quickly! LOL I am proud to say that I haven't spent any money this year yet on Christmas decor. I am trying to work with what I have around my house and have had from previous years. We've never had a mantle in any of the houses we've lived in, so I am having fun decorating one this year!
I wanted to keep the clock up since I love it so much, so I added some garland and ornaments around it. I might add a strand of battery operated lights to it.
Here is a closer look, I kept the brown sconces from Kirkland's that I always have on the mantle, I added two finials that I previously had in the foyer and a Santa that I got a few years ago at Target. I swagged some garland that I added ornaments, ribbon and sparkly snowflakes to.
Here is a close up of Mr. Santa I think he is so cute! I love the colors on him.
I always have to add a touch of animal print to everything!
I added the stockings to the garland. I will be on the lookout for stocking holders when they go on clearance.
I dressed up the candles with some leopard print ribbon and a fleur de lis.
Well that's it for today! I hope you enjoyed my Christmas mantle, I will be working on the rest of the house this week. Be back soon!!

Allyson, I love your mantel! How creative, to take the garland around the clock! Love the fleur de lis on the candle and the leopard print accent ribbon. Very pretty!
Everything looks great! Love the colors you used. Can't wait to see more!
Very pretty, Allyson! Love the chocolate and bronze colors you have used in your decor. Beautiful. The fleur-de-lis and ribbon are a pretty touch to dress up the candles, too.
Looking forward to seeing more!
I love your mantel! the colors you have are gorgeous.
Ally, I love it all, but especially what you did w/that clock...amazingly beautiful!
What a great start! Making me feel pretty lazy right about now as I haven't even pulled out Christmas items out of the garage yet ... so in the meantime I'm just adoring my awesome custom-Ally-made tassle!
Have a great week!

Gorgeous, Allyson! I love the colors you used and the clock looks adorable. Keep the Christmas inspiration coming! =) By the way, your Thanksgiving table looked lovely, too! I have been so busy and meant to post the other day.
Have a great week! xo ~Liz
i think that looks great! the reds and golds really work with the xmas season, and great idea around the clock! how'd you manage to keep the garland and the balls in place?
Oh Alyson, it is gorgeous! I also love the clock on the wall too, beautiful! Can't wait to see the rest too. I haven't bought much really, just a St. Patricks Cathedral, like the one in NYC and that is the reason I bought it too as I'm a Newyorker. Have a terrific week. FABBY

I too will be decorating with items we have instead of buying new this year.
Can't wait to see more!

Very pretty...I love that you decorated the clock, too. And that you didn't spend any money! Fantastic. The only new things I have are the things I bought on clearance last year. I can't remember what, I guess I will be surprised when I open up the boxes!
XO,
Jane
