Trick or Treat!

I hope you all had a fabulous Halloween! Jackson dressed up as Woody, he was so cute trick or treating he kept trying to show everyone his hat. So cute! I'll leave you all with some pictures, enjoy!

Living Room Tweaks

Hey guys! I have made some changes to our main living room. Join me for a tour!

If you remember I showed you my baker's rack a few months ago, that I had behind our sofa, well I moved it  next to the fireplace and love it here so much more! I have a hutch that I am going to paint and put in the place that the baker's rack was before.

I made this fall frame last year.

 Of course every room in the downstairs part of the house has a rooster! :)

 I added some acorn beads and a pumpkin to this jar.

 I showed you this Tuscan picture a few posts back, which I found at Big Lots for 12 dollars! Love it!

 I have added something to the fireplace, do you see it?

Yep it's Buzz Lightyear! LOL Jackson loves Toy Story. We found the set at Target for 6 dollars and I just pushed them into a fake pumpkin.

The last time I showed you this room, I showed you this coffee table. You can see what it used to look like here. I painted it black and distressed it, I love the way it turned out. It's actually really nice to have it distressed with a little one around. Not worried about it getting messed up.

 Here's a close up of some of the distressing. I plan to paint this hutch that I have black and distress it as well. I will be starting that soon!

Come Fall Into My Front Porch!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks, time seems to just go by so fast! I have added some fall decor to the front porch, join me for a tour! All of these pictures are taken at night, the porch during the day gets a ton of sunlight, so it's pretty hard to photograph!

 I made the mesh wreaths using a floral foam wreath form, two different colors of mesh which I got from Joann's, Fall riboon, leaves and pumpkins. I used floral pins or greening pins to secure everything into place. 

 I hung them on command hooks, the second outdoor door doesn't open. We can't seem to find the key, so there is no way of hanging a wreath hanger.

I made the pumpkin topiaries, I have been wanting to make some since last year. I really would have liked them to be sitting on urns, but I couldn't find any so pots will have to do for this year!

I placed them on grapevine wreaths I added some mesh to the wreaths with leaf garland, to attach them all together I cut a hole in the bottom of each pumpkin and then hot glued them on and added leaf garland. I added a bow on  top with some fall ribbon. I think they turned out cute! I had some left over mesh from the wreaths, but didn't have enough of each color to add both, so I just added one color on each.

 Here's Mr. & Mrs. Scarecrow! :) I got them a few years ago at Joann's, I think they are so cute! I got the flag the other day at Walmart.
