Fall Vignettes

Hi! I wanted to share the last of my Fall vignettes. I will be taking down all of my fall decor on sunday so I can start Christmas! YAY!! :)

For my table I added a leopard runner, two candlesticks I made using candle holders from dollar tree with candy corn and a candle, two fleur de lis finials and a pumpkin arrangement.

I made this fall tree last year and left everything on when I stored it. I had to fluff it up some but it was quick to put up. I just wrapped a Christmas tree with fall garland and poked in some pumpkins, a scarecrow and other fall goodies.

I was really missing not having a mantle this year so I made this shelf kind of my "mantle" I added two metal pumpkins, a leopard pumpkin, fall garland and two roosters.

Here's a couple vignettes in the kitchen, I added a fall platter, a container with some greenery and leaves and just added a bow and small pumpkin to the urn.

To the top of my fridge I added a pumpkin arrangement.

And here I just added some sparkly pumpkins and fruit to my stand.

I hope you enjoyed the rest of my Fall decor, sorry I was so late getting posts up! I will try and get Christmas up quicker so you can see it sooner! I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving! We will be celebrating Ashleigh's 2nd Birthday that day as well, so I will share pictures from her Frozen party next week! :)

Fall Hutch 2014

Hey! If you missed my post yesterday, I shared my front fall living room. Today, I want to share my fall hutch.

Here is a full view of the hutch.

For the top I added a lit pumpkin, some finials, fall garland and some greenery.

For the bottom I kept my wine crate with greenery and just added some fall garland. I also added a pumpkin and two decorative plates and some leaves.

Here is a fall tassel I made myself a few years ago.

For the inside I added my red chris madden dishes, fall mugs, pumpkin plates, leaf plates, pumpkins, leaves, animal print plates and wine glasses from the dollar tree. I recently bought these wine glasses, I love the green color on the stem and they are really nice glasses for a $1!

 Here's the other side.

Here's what the hutch looks like when the doors are open.

Well, that's it for today! I hope you enjoyed my fall hutch. I will be back again this week with the rest of my fall vignettes.

Have a great day!!

Fall Desk Decor

Hey everyone! I finally finished pulling out all of my Fall decor from the garage. Today, I want to share my desk dressed for Fall. We recently purchased a new desk, I found it on craigslist. It is in really good shape, this desk normally sells at Ashley for $1200 and we got it for $130! Score!! It was time to retire the black desk I had before. Anyways, on with the decor pictures.

I added my big pumpkin arrangement to the top with some garden balls, twig pumpkins, two fall urns, some greenery and two lamps.

I propped this tuscan urn up on some book boxes, added greenery, some fall leaves and a twig pumpkin.

I added a lamp, a fall pick and a pumpkin here.

To the shelves I added a tuscan plate, finial, glittery owl, fleur de lis jar, some fall leaves and pumpkin arrangement.

Here's a closer look at the top.

That's all I have for today! I hope you enjoyed my Fall desk, I have a lot more to show you, so stay tuned for my next post!!

Fall Wreath

Hey everyone!! So sorry I haven't been around in so long! I have been really busy with my cake business and haven't been doing any decorating. I am starting to get my fall decor out and started with revamping a wreath I made a few years ago. All I did was add new mesh, ribbon, flower picks, pumpkins and a metal piece for the center. I had a lot of these things on hand, so total cost for this wreath was a little under $20. Here is a picture of it. I love the way it turned out! Enjoy!! :)

I will be posting pictures soon of my Fall decor!!

Dining Room/Family Room Tour

Today, I want to share my dining area/family room. This is the side of the house that we spend the most time in. Join me as I take you on the tour.
Here is a view of our dining area from the kitchen.

Here is a view walking in from the front living room.

I placed a small table in the corner with a faux plant, our Ipod deck and fleur de lis plates.

Another view from the couch, I would really love to change out the light fixture, but I need to convince my husband of that one lol.

I placed a scrunched up runner, an arrangement I made and two fleur de lis candlesticks with candles to the center of the table.

Here is a view of my hutch. If you are new to my blog you can search to see what this hutch used to look like before I painted it black and added the iron to the doors.

I placed a scrunched up runner along with greenery in a wine crate, a fleur de lis plaque and two finials.

For the inside I added my red chris madden dishes, wine bottles, decorative plates, finials and wine glasses.

For the top I added three fleur de lis vases to the center, I put them on top of a book box to give it height. I also added finials and greenery.

Here is a view of our family room. I would love to get a new sectional, but this one works well with the kids still being little they are constantly spilling something!

Here are a couple different views of the couch area.

For this wall I added two tuscan pictures with candle sconces on either side, a iron piece above, a metal shelf, roosters and a arrangement.

I added this iron piece above our TV I think it frames it nicely.

We have this ottoman for toys, I hung the fleur de lis iron peice above. I love fleur de lis can you tell? :)

I added two valances above this window along with a iron piece. I wanted to add panels but we have a doggy door that clips into the sliding glass door and it wouldn't have worked, so this will have to do.

I added my leopard lamp with a tassel, three candle holders and this trunk which I store diapers in.

I hope you enjoyed my dining area/family room tour! I will be back soon with another decorating post. I have decided to start a cake/ party planning business called Tickle Your Cake Buds I would love for you to follow me there too! tickleyourcakebuds.blogspot.com or like me on FB at https://www.facebook.com/tickleyourcakebuds

Have a great weekend!!
