Living Room Part 2 Decorated for Christmas

Hey! A few days ago I showed you my Living Room decorated for Christmas here and today I am going to share the other half of the room. Join me for some pictures!

Here's a look at the desk, I kept it pretty simple I just added garland and a few Christmas touches.

Here's a closer look at the garland. I added green mesh which I found at Costco, they had a really good selection this year, ribbon, ornaments, berries and beads.

Here's a look at the shelf below.

I just love this santa warmer from Walmart its too cute!

I didn't do much on this table just added a few ornaments for a splash of Christmas.

Here's a look at this mini tree I have sitting on the table. This is the exact same as last year I had plans to beef it up but just didn't get the time.. I wonder why?? :)

Here's a look at the piano, I wrapped boxes and added ribbon to them.

Here's a closer look I added berry candle rings to the candles and then used the lanterns I got from Target a few months ago and just added ornaments inside.

I added garland, mesh and ribbon to the iron embellishment above the pictures.

Well, that is it for today. I will be back tomorrow to share my hutch and kitchen table decor with you.

Have a great day!

Christmas Living Room 2012

Hey guys! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, ours was good. Finally getting back into the swing of things around here. I wanted to share my front living room decorated for Christmas with you all today. In case you missed my last post I shared my Foyer here go take a look! Now on with the Living Room tour.

Here is one of the trees I put up this year. I added red and two different tones of gold mesh, red, gold and green ornaments, glittery snowflakes and snowmen and a crazy tree topper.

Here's a closer look at the tree topper. I started off with a bow and then just started shoving various picks in. I had a lot of them from last year, I added some from the dollar tree this year as well.

Close up of the tree.

I added garland above the tv with gold mesh, leopard ribbon and mardi gra beads.

I added garland with gold mesh, ornaments, berries, ribbon and mardi gra beads to the mirror, along with a wreath.

Here's some close ups.

I love how you can see the reflection of lights in the foyer through the mirror.

Here's a look as you walk in through the front door.

 Looking in through the foyer.

Well, that's it for today! I hope you all enjoyed my Living Room, I still have the other half of this room, the kitchen and hutch to show you this week. So, stay tuned!

Have a great day!!

Christmas Foyer 2012

Hey guys! I finally finished my Foyer the other day, so I wanted to share! I definitely didn't think I would just now be finishing up Christmas decor but that's just the way it goes! Ours is staying up until the first week in January since we are celebrating later with my husband's family, so we do get to enjoy it for quite awhile.

Here's a look at the foyer table. I added a Santa in a sleigh with two reindeer, two gold trees, a green cone, leopard placemats, a candlestick and topiary.

Here's a closer look. The only thing I purchased new this year was the green cone from Hobby Lobby.

Better look at Santa, I got him last year at Michael's.

I found these lit presents at Walgreen's for 20. I have always wanted some!

Here's a look at the stairs, I swagged garland with red and gold mesh, leopard ribbon, red and gold mardi gra beads, ornaments and bows.

Closer look at the garland.

I had some left over red mesh, so I made a wreath for the mirror. I purchase almost all of my ornaments from the Dollar Tree.

Here's a look at the other table, I kept this one somewhat simple just added a reindeer tassel and some ornaments in the greenery.

I hope you enjoyed our Foyer! I will be sharing the rest of the house over the next week. Be prepared for a lot of posts from me! :)

Have a great weekend!!

Welcome Baby Ashleigh!

Hey guys! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Ours was very eventful we welcomed Ashleigh into our family on Friday at 1:25 p.m. Throughout my pregnancy I was getting watched really closely because I had a placental cyst growing and over the last couple months it kept growing in size slowly. My doctor called me last week and wanted me to go get an amnio done to check to see if her lungs were developed since I was 36 weeks and if so they were going to deliver me yesterday. Well on Friday when I went they measured the cyst again and it grew from Monday 7cm to Friday 9cm so the specialist decided it was best just to get her out and not even chance it. So, from there on out everything started happening very quick before I knew it we were in a room getting prepped for a c section. Luckily they did decide to take her out because when they pulled the placenta out the cyst ruptured and blew a hole through the placenta. Her cord was going through the cyst, so if it would have ruptured on its own we would've ran into a emergency situation there. She is healthy and didn't need any assistance with breathing. She weighed 8lbs 9 oz and was 21 1/4 inches long! I'd say she was ready to come out!! Anyhow we are still getting acclimated around here but I wanted to give you all an update. I was so excited to see my mantle featured at A stroll thru life however I am sad to say that the urns fell off the mantle while I was in the hospital and broke so I have to figure out something else now. I'll keep ya updated!!

Here's a picture of Ashleigh, we are having fun playing dress up can you tell?? :)

Be back soon!
