Jackson's big boy room

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you all Jackson's big boy room today. A few months after he turned two he started climbing out of his crib, so we converted it into a toddler bed, but he just never really liked it. He always loved our bed, so I figured it was time to get him in a normal bed. We got him a full sized bed from a friend of mine for FREE yay! It's a nice bed that her mom didn't want anymore. He loves his bed now! Bedtime is sometimes a struggle but he's getting better and better each day he usually only gets up once and tries to come out.

Here is a shot at his room from the door as you enter. The top little boy painting was painted by my husband's Grandma its so adorable!

Here's a close up of the picture my sister painted for Jackson its so cute!! She can customize the paintings to fit your theme anywhere in your house. Check her Etsy shop out she has a ton of cute ones that shes already done on there or she can create something different for you.

Here is a shot of the room as you enter.

Here is a better look at the bed wall. I still want to make him a upholstered headboard, I plan to get that done soon! I got the bedding from Ross it's made by Ralph Lauren and is so soft and comfortable! It was only 29.99 also SCORE! I already had the brown curtains, so I got him some brown sheets to tie that in.  He loves his brobee from Yo gabba gabba that he sleeps with every night.

Here's an up close picture of the pictures above Jackson's bed.

He has a little sitting area in the corner if he wants to watch a movie in his room. He doesn't really do this yet but I am sure he will in the future. The recliner came from my grandparents a few years ago I put it in his room for me to rock him when he was a baby. It matches his bedding perfectly!

Here is his nightstand, I added some cute sports themed picture frames and little knick knacks to it. I painted this black a few months ago and distressed it. We had about 5 pieces of furniture my in laws left for us to keep that I have painted to go with our style, they were a light oak.

My husband loves getting autographs of his favorite players from the teams he likes, so since Jackson's room is a sports theme they work well in here. Below are also dad's guitars.

We had an extra tv that I put in his room just to watch movies. I painted the stand also. I added a stuffed animal holder in the corner he has a MILLION and always loved pulling them out so I wanted to keep them up high.

Here is a view at the wall across from his bed it has all of his dad's signed and framed autographed pictures. I found the cute little sports canvases at Target a few months back in the dollar section.

I also found the sports bucket and sports rug in the dollar section at Target. I added a little picture frame of Jackson when he was a baby and little cubs bear.

Well that's it for today guys! I am working on tassels for my Etsy store today and will be listing them as I finish so keep checking back if your interested! I can always create something custom for you as well.

Have a great day!!
