Easter & Prom

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around much, I haven't really felt like getting on the computer and blogging. I need to get my butt in gear and get this house packed up! I have quite a bit packed, I just need to do a lot more. We are going to start moving some stuff over this weekend and I am going to be painting a bedroom. I will share that with you all after its finished. Anyhow, here are some pictures of Jackson on Easter. I was going to do an egg hunt for him, but he's still at the age where he doesn't know what's going on yet, so maybe next year.

Not last weekend but weekend after was my brother's prom. It was held at the pointe hilton. They went a party bus with about 40 friends. This is my brother Zach (17) and his girlfriend Lexi (16) they have been dating for almost 4 years! Crazy right!

I think her dress was so cute!! They both looked great!

Hey guys! I hope you all are having a fabulous day! I wanted to show you what I got recently to go in my new laundry room. It's a vinyl saying done in brown, I am not sure what I am going to do to the laundry room yet but this is a good start.

Bunny Scape

Hey Guys! I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! I've been seeing so many Easter tablescapes around, so I thought I would create my own. A lot of what you see here is stuff I already had, minus the green topiary that I got from Tuesday Morning this week for 10 dollars and my flower covered eggs. I think they turned out adorable! I purchased some plastic eggs from Hobby Lobby for 77 cents and the flowers are from Michael's, they were originally 9.99 and I got them for 4.99 after the discount.

Here is a close up of the eggs, I just pulled the petals off and hot glued them all the way around the egg.

Memo, Zebra & Scrolls

Hey guys! I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! I finished a project and found some new goodies of course! I am taking a break from carpet cleaning our couch to show them to you. If you remember from my previous post here about how I made a jewelry hanger, well, I decided to make a memo board with some fabric and ribbon I have had for a long time. I don't remember what I was going to do with it, but, I finally found a use for it. In the new house I have a vanity, I plan on hanging the jewelry hanger and this memo board in there.

 I went to my favorite store lately (Ross) and I found some new pillows, below I found the zebra one in the middle. It is a feather down pillow, I got it for 9.99. I plan on replacing the other inserts of the pillows with down ones. I love the way they look, they are just so fluffy!

I have been looking for some pillows for our main living room to go with the big cafe picture I have, it has alot of greens in it, so I thought these pillows worked out perefectly. The two scroll ones were 12.99 and the zebra print one in middle was on sale for 8.99, they are feather down too. Love them! Nothing is worse than having droopy flat pillows on your couch..

These green ones are little darker in person, they are pretty sage green.

Storage Extravaganza

Hey guys! I wanted to share our pantry with you. I use it for food of course, as well as storing extra serving platters and appliances. The one thing this house does have is some awesome storage, however so does our new house, so we are WINNING both ways. ( sorry thought it was a funny charlie sheen moment :) ) Anyhow, here are some pictures of the way my pantry looks right now. I saw Sheila was having a party, so I had to join in! 

Someone sure was thinking whenever they built this house, to put in a outlet so you can plug in your dust buster! Love it!! I will definitely miss that.

We have got to have our Pepsi products around here, my husband works for Pepsi.
