Fall in the Kitchen

Hi guys! I am sorry I haven't gotten this post up sooner, but our house just went up for sale, so I have been busy making sure everything is organized etc. I did some fall decorating before I knew the house was going on the market, so our realtor told me to leave it up. I wanted to share the kitchen today and then I will share the rest next week. I obviously wont be doing anymore fall decorating this year, I had plans to do some more but that will have to wait until next year. Anyhow on with the pictures of the kitchen.

Here's a view as you walk into the kitchen.

I wanted to create a fall tree this year and to my surprise I had everything on hand, so this didn't cost me a dime. All I did was wrap the tree with leaf garland, tucked in some pumpkins, a owl and then added a ribbon bow to the top and shoved in leaf branches and some flowers. I think it turned out so cute! I want to do a Halloween one next year.

Here is a little vignette next to the tree.

I added a fall platter, two pumpkins, an urn and a lamp and then just tucked some greenery in the bare spots.

I added a pumpkin arrangement I threw together a few years ago, a metal pumpkin from Safeway and a grapevine pumpkin from Target's dollar section.

I added a pumpkin arrangement with greenery to the top of this stand. I use the bottom half, so I just added some pretties to the top.

I used a cake plate that I got from Hobby Lobby a few years ago and tucked in some pumpkins, grapes and wine corks.

For my pot rack I just added some leaf garland to dress it up.

Well, that's it for today! I have been taking orders for Tassels and I recently decided to start selling wreaths. I have made one so far which sold but I will attach a picture of the wreath to give you an idea. If you are interested in purchasing wreaths or tassels send me an email and I would love to make them for you!

I hope you all have a great weekend!!

Beautiful fall decor Allyson, it seems like you just got settled and have to move. Best wishes on your new home and all that moving involves. The tree with the owl is adorable and I love your ceramics. Take care.

Pretty Alyson, your kitchen is gorgeous all done up for Autumn at it's best! Your wreath is lovely and so is your rack with the fall garland. Great vignettes too! Hugs,

Pretty Fall decor, Allyson! I really like the Fall tree!

Was it a surprise that the house was going on the market, or were you expecting it? I hope it was the latter. Now what will you do?
